I CLICKED A THING! I ordered cookies on the computer. Don’t know how. Maybe I sneezed. Anyway a box showed up and I barked at it until it surrendered. Inside were treats that smelled like joy and maybe the sun. I ate them so fast my tail forgot how to wag. Good website. Good box. Good snacks. I’m a hero.

My human finally did something right and ordered these treats online. I don’t get involved in their little “internet shopping sprees” because last time they bought a bed I refused to sleep in. But this time? Different story. Box shows up. I give it a sniff. Strong. Promising. Clean ingredients. The kind of stuff you’d trade for on the streets if you ran with the right pack. Human opens the bag and I’m like, alright, show me what you got. First bite? Yeah. Yeah, that’s the good stuff. Tastes like someone actually cares about dogs and not whatever passes for “flavor” in those cheap corner-store biscuits. Healthy? Sure. Delicious? Absolutely. I’d undo a latch, hop a fence, and dodge two Chihuahuas just to get another one. My human did good. I’m shocked too.

My human opened the bag and I did a little cough-snort of excitement. Very classy, very distinguished. First bite? Boom. Fireworks. Romance. A small emotional breakdown. They’re healthy, which my human loves, and delicious, which I love, and honestly that’s the only democracy I believe in. The ingredients and flavors are worthy of my adorable frog-shaped face. I would bark in French right now, but you wouldn’t survive the elegance.
